Question Dell D531 Nic with network bootcd

using a cd version of the universal tcp/ip network bootdisk
    i.e. http://www.netbootdisk.com/index.htm

no matter what broadcom b57.dos driver im injecting into the cd I cannot get
it to recognise the nic in the d531 even when it does manage to recognise
the same/similar model card in an hp desktop. its kind of infuriating.

    anyone know about this?
