Buying a Lapsafe "smartline" laptop trolley

Can anyone shed any light on this? Lapsafe's website is horribly vague..

I'm after buying a lapsafe mentor smartline E 25 from Insight (the 25 laptop capacity ones with the built-in charge leads)

What's the deal with these? Do you just order them and fit the chargers yourself? Or do these have to be put in at manufacturing time? I dont want to order it for it to come like the ones you just plug in which is what we have at the moment.

These are fitted with the adapter leads for your chosen laptops when they are built. Just unpack and fit your laptop.

As a side note have you considered the Smartline S with DTM modules?

Do you know what the difference is between the smartline "S" and "E" models?
Also where did you get yours from? I am being quoted £2400 for a smartline E, but I thought they were more expensive than this

Recently quoted £2690.00 for the Mini Mentor Smartline E with DTM modules. (15 laptops)

As for the difference between the smartline "S" and "E" models

"E" Offers secure storage only

"S" Offers secure storage, alarm and network support.

There very good trolleys, just watch for the staff leaving the key in the door and pushing it though doors and snapping it off.


Also they are quite heavy, but this helps them take a beating when being pushed about.

Indeed.. this is to actually replace one that was made mince meat by a bunch of chav's with a crowbar (see pics) luckily insurance is paying

They did not manage to get any of the dell laptops, and this was after 20 minutes of trying with a crowbar (Police never turned up). It would have been much, much worse if we were using a lesser product

That's some testament to the build quality and security of that trolley.
