    WEEE disposal - recommended companies?

    Hi all,

I've got about 16 desktops plus some monitors and other bits that need to be disposed of. Being an academy we can't use the County waste sites, can anyone recommend a WEEE disposal firm that would puck up the kit and recycle it? We're based in Cornwall and would need the drives wiping.
    Thanks in advance

We used these guys most recently:

Link: SR Waste Recycling - WEEE Recycling and Free Electrical Waste Collection Leeds

They were very accomodating: We were unable to give them an accurate estimate for items to be collected. They came and collected what they could even though there was eventually a lot more equipment than we originally indicated. Friendly too.

    + 1 for prm green

    In my experience they are:

    Always on time
    Always easy to deal with
    Always provide full disposal paperwork
    Always give you free mugs

We use PRM too, however it can be rather annoying now they have increased their limit. Free mugs are brilliant, even if they do keep disappearing from our office...

Another vote for PRM (Especially after we kicked up and they now give everyone asset registers and data destruction certificates by default!) I do seem to remember that there is a minimum limit of items though.
