Good ol' super glue

Enclose it in a solid plastic cover?

Wonder if you could logically put those USB front plates in the wrong way round and then feed the cables into the back of the PC - like to see them unplug that! (obviously you'd cable tie the inside so the cable can't be pulled)

The only problem with indestructible stuff is, it's really expensive and therefore, quite a dream for schools.

I think it's sad that we have to order half a dozen bottles of superglue whenever we buy new PCs so that we can glue everything down that the little devils might pull off.

If the destruction is severe enough our school sends home a bill to the parents for the damages. I don't think that one of them has paid up yet but it definitely makes them think twice, or at least attempt to be smart enough not to get caught.

We also have to go through the effort of gluing everything shut from a damage limitation point of view. Kind of sad when the major benefit to schools of stuff like solid state storage is that it is more resilient to vandalism.
