    RemoteFX Graphics Card

Anybody running RemoteFX and if so what graphics card? Im looking at Microsoft list GPU Requirements for RemoteFX on Windows Server 2012 R2 - Remote Desktop Services (Terminal Services) Team Blog - Site Home - MSDN Blogs

All the graphics cards they have listed are out of stock where i was going to buy (overclockers as they are a 5 min drive away) , but I'm guessing as long as its Direct X 11 and WDDM 1.2 it will work? I was thinking this one? EVGA GeForce GTX 770 Classified ACX Dual Bios 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (04G-P4-3778-KR) [04G-P4-3778-KR]

Check server compatibility too, just because a server has a x16 slot, doesn't mean it will detect and use a GPU, particularly on older servers. Got caught out in the past with an HP!

We use 2x Quadro 6000s in our VDI/Multipoint servers absolutely great especially for Photoshop and video rendering acceleration, however 60+ solidworks users does tend to drag them under a bit so we have to start manually balancing sessions 30/30 between each server, also don't forgot the power requirements of these GPUs especially if your using redundant power supplies as they many switch from redundant to load sharing
