They wouldnt even let my cousin in who is fit as a fiddle just because he broke his ankle when he was 10 or something![]()
I can trump that. I went in fit & came out with a knackered back & shoulder. Never have been told what's actually wrong with it other than it hurts like f%$k.

I've recently bought a Benq FP937S+ 19" TFT. It got some good reviews.

The prices on Ebuyer for Neovo panels seems to have dropped again. The 17" S-17 monitors (amazing to look at!) are dirt cheap!

I was told 16ms is a minimum requirement for running games.

It depends on the persons eyes.

It also depends on how the manufacturer is stating their response times - I think Geoff mentioned earlier that there can be discrepencies.
I would have to go with :

They make awesome monitors and TFT's

Aria have just started selling 17" TFTs for under £100!
(I still prefer the Neovo ones though)
Yeah - I bought a 19" from Aria from hoe for £130 & VAT - and it seems OK too!Originally Posted by Ric_

when I worked for a web/graphic design company, iiyama (crt) monitors were always considered to be near the top of the league for clarity, rendering colours etc., and that's why you paid a premium (2 to 3 times the price of ordinary monitors). the iiyama tft monitors seem quite cheap in comparison to'run of the mill' stuff. I don't know what they're like for games though.

Hi i have 1 Hp 19" can remember the model at work which is great and looks the dogs and is very good for games, i have tryed farcry, UT2004, Doom3 and great results ( not that i play games at work, just if i can get a lunch break a little stress relief). I also own a very nice 17" samsung syncmaster 710n which i've had for over a year now and its great.
So yeh go for HP or Samsung from ebuyer or dabs as they are great monitors
