BT Versatility programming the default extention for auto attendant

Despite it being an older system, we still have a working BT Versatility phone system that mostly does all we need it to. However, after some staff changing offices and subsequent re-programming by the Office Manager, the auto attendant isn't doing quite what it should.

All the correct entensions ring if the caller presses a number when promted. However, if they don't press anything and just wait, instead of the main office handset ringing, the HR extension rings, and no-one else can pick up the call from their extension.

Does anyone know how to change the default extension that rings when the caller doesn't select an option during the auto attendant greeting?

I didn't have anything to do with the re-programming, and the Office Manager can't remember what she did that might have changed it. I've got several manuals for the system and I can't find anything about changing the default extension.

    Can anyone help?

We've been quoted £360 by BT for them to fix this issue!
