One of my primary schools has a Magicolour 2430DL printer in the suite and while I was at another school it jammed. A member of staff removed the jam but now it will print a test page from the printer control panel but not print from a workstation. I can ping the printer but not open its web interface. The display panel on the printer shows nothing wrong.
Any ideas?

I can't access the printers web page so that means it's something to do with the printer itself. I've just changed the network cable and it's still the same :x

Disconnect the power from it and leave it for about 10 minutes before plugging it back in. If possible you should also print out a status page to show you whether or not its pulling down the appropriate network information.
We have had a few issues with a 5430DL at our school, most of which dissapeared with a firmware and driver upgrade. They are also quite picky about the RAM as our 5430DL also had issues when we first upgraded the RAM. It turned out that it was a slightly faulty RAM module and it stopped it from spooling jobs properly sometimes.

It's been turned off all weekend but I've now found out why the web interface was not working... someone had switched it on the control panel
but that still leaves the printer not printing. My next job will be to do what Joanne said and reinstall the printer drivers.
