rack mount servers

Hello all, i've just purchased a rackmount server expecting it to just screw into the cab. But i've been advised i need a rackmount kit, is this the case?

Yes you will need some rails to securely put it into the rack.

You will need to check with the server brand (Dell,HP) and buy some rails from them
