Default Toshiba Satellite P200

How stupid is this ?

The said laptop - LAN driver states its a Realtek RTL8139/810x

So you would think to get it to boot to Ghost 8.0 so I can take a snaphot - the NDIS2 DOS driver would work - Errrrr no.

Under Windows XP its seen as the Realtek RTL8139/810x - but to get it to ghost I have had to use the 8168 NDIS2 DOS driver.

How stupid is that ? Someone like to explain why ? I wish someone would write a generic DOS driver for all ethernet cards / chipsets.

Have you tried the 3Com universal NDIS driver http://support.3com.com/infodeli/tools/nic/mba.htm it apparently uses the PXE environment on the card to access it.
