I found one of these the other day:
Got a BBC Master in the cupboard and an Acorn Archimedes A3000 in the cupboard - both still work. We hooked them up to a projector (only thing we had to hand which had composite input), and fired up Crystal Forest on the Acorn.
Got a Toshiba 386 laptop too, also still works.
Makes me wonder what this thread would look like in say 20 years...
Found an iPad tucked away in a cupboard the other day. Still running iOS 7!! You know the ones where you had to touch to type... None of this thought activated typing. Ahh the good old days!
We found a couple of laptops last year. One hadn't been used since 1998, the other was an Acorn A4. Both were faster than the laptops we have now...
And I nearly resorted to using a 3.5" floppy disk earlier when I couldn't find a memory stick. Today was a bad day.
