we have 4 Lenovo X60 tablet PC's - not impressed .
-expensive, poor performance(Vista business), temperamental & no optical drive .

And no trackpad either. As mentioned I don't think they represent good value particularly when you look at what else is available in the ultraportable market.

The T61 and R61 however are the best value business laptops money can buy.

Do you not try before you buy your equipment?? Through my reseller I can loan the laptop model i want before i commit to an order. I did this with the R61 and T61's before we purchased.

X series performance may be poor on Vista, but the X series is all about being light and thin, hence no optical drive. But surely if you want an optical drive you look at the spec before you buy and choose a different manufacturer.
