    Angry 3D Printing - HALP!

I've been tearing my hair out with this 3D Printer that my school has. Once, we managed to print out half of a Dalek, but that was before I started and since then, it's sat in it's box gathering dust. I'm really excited to get this thing going but, no matter what I try, I keep hitting the same snag. Follow every step in the manual and on the web to be greeted with "ERROR - File Initialization".

The Printer we have is a BFB-3000. I can't find much of anything about it no matter where I browse.
Any help would be really appreciated, it might save my hair!

    Thanks guys,
    Tom.

hmmm it seems that it's been abandoned by the manufacturer really:

Possibly, I'll look into it. I emailed Bits from Bytes (the manufacturer) a few days ago but haven't heard back. Cheers!

Have you tried a new SD card in it?

I've only tried a couple, is that likely to be an issue?

I appreciate it, man. I'll try a handful more today and let you know how things go.

Rather surprisingly, a 2gb card actually worked! Thanks for all the suggestions, Ben
