Aldi do 7" Android tablet for £79.99

On Sunday the 8th December: https://www.aldi.co.uk/en/specialbuy...7316-md-98282/
Not the best resolution screen (1024x600) but apart from that the spect isn't bad at all:

    • Razor sharp multitouch display (1,024 x 600 pixels) for a fantastic multimedia experience
    • High performance Quad Core processor (1.6GHz) for smooth-running apps
    • Android™ 4.2.2 Jelly Bean for improved performance
    • Over one million apps and games available via Google Play™ for work, travel and entertainment
    • 2 integrated cameras – 0.3MP front webcam with integrated microphone and a 2.0MP camera on the rear
    • Fast wireless LAN IEEE 802.11 n-standard technology
    • USB host function and numerous connection options including Bluetooth 2.1

Considering the Hudl sold out twice and is expected too a 3rd time, I think they are banking on people opting for these. Argos apparently still have massive stocks of theirs left.

Have you seen the Argos offering? Screen is awful. I mean, proper awful, really dim and pixellated.

Oh, and it's full of bloatware (19 apps!) It looks like Argos invited every tom dick and harry developer to buy space on the device.

Probably explains why they have loads of stock left. I was playing in store with a hudl yesterday. Really nice pieces of kit.

I see it sold out in 24 hours: BBC News - Aldi 'low-cost' tablet sells out
Not bad, but you can get comparable tablets on Amazon for around the same price. Still, good warranty though!
