Ever since we setup k: drive to be a network share on the machines for sims under the staff accounts, we have been unable to access usb drives.
we used to be able to access the drives on the k drive, but now nothing appears in my computer.
I've been in to the registry and tried changing the drive letter for mass storage devices but this only works for that particular drive.
here is the drive structure in my computer
A: FLOPPY
C: SYSYTEM DRIVE
D: CD-ROM DRIVE
E,F,G,H, and I are virtual drives for the multimedia server.
Network drives
K: Sims
R:Resource
S: user mydocuments
is the a simple fix, do i need to edit the NTuser.man hive so all staff can pick up USB drives.
cheers
