HP?
Falling at the first hurdle there, djm968 - HP's support is in the Netherlands. Konica Minolta are in NL too - weird.
Surely if you're buying a good make of printer, you're not going to need to talk to technical support much though? The only time I've ever spoken to the manufacturer about any of our printers was with Brother, the others have all worked fine or had the answer in the manual and/or online.

Well he said english technical support not technical support located in england.
The dutch speak pretty good english from my experience.
Ben

I've found HP's on-line to be pretty good on the few times I've needed it. The only problem is there doesn't seem to be anything to compare with the HP900 series colour inkjets in terms of reliability, cost, ruggedness and ink costs.
The HP comment was made in jest as was the original posters comment about English support (given away by the HA HA)Originally Posted by NickJones
I have always used HP printers and found them to be quite reliable especially if you only install OEM toner.
We use QMS 5430DL in most of our classrooms - very solid and reliable. We've also got some HP2600N for offices etc.
We also use HP throughout for lasers and have few problems with them. Are you having significant problems with your current HP printers?
never had any issues with the support in NL, they're quite a knowledgeable and friendly bunch (or is that because they're always stoned over there)
Also every new printer I get here is always a HP - one of the reasons being when you buy a toner you also buy the drum so you're not pissing about with replacing drums as well.
haha thaks for the replys :P but everytime i phone them i can a french guy or a pakistani bunch, but we use refilled tonners so do you think this could be our problem?
