Fix Dell Printer / Advice for a new one??
Right here goes.
At Hunningley Lane Primary school where i work half a day a week the printer has broken.
They have a Dell 3100CN. I put a new drum in last week because the printer was telling me to do so. The printer was working fine when i put the drum in. As normal things always brake when i'm not there. The next week the printer wasnt printing anything put blank pages. I took all the toners out and cleaned them along with cleaning the print heads with the magic wand thing. The printer then only printed half a page, everything to the left hand side was blank. Wierd as everything was working the previous week. So i rang Dell up and ran through some diagnostics and i thought it might be a faulty drum that was causing the problems. So after nearly an hour with dell teccies, both india and uk they sent me out a new drum.
I've just put the drum in and its made no different at all.
As anyone had any experience with this dell printer?
I need to get it fixed for Wednesday or get a new printer ordered pronto so i can install on Wednesday and then script it out to all the users in the school.
I'm after a cheap reliable and easy to use printer. I'd like it to come in at £400 or under and not Dell.....
Cheers, Ben

Yes i did, and it didnt work
I think the best thing would be to get a new printer, once things start messing about it ends up costly.
