    New to SAN's need advice

We have used NAS storage here but I noticed this deal http://www.ict-direct.co.uk/servers/...age-array.html

I am looking to buy 2 off these with the 300gb FC HD option to start me off, I know I will need to attach it to a server but what else will I need to make a fully functional SAN on the network.

    Thanks

You'll need a EMC CLARiiON CX SPE (Storage Processor Enclosure) to actually use that, it's an add-on box and won't work without.

We did have a few controllers for these but they're all gone now leaving us with just the storage arrays I'm afraid.

I do have a number of options in HP and Dell arrays though if you want to give me a call. I'm sure we can find something that suits your needs, and most importantly, your budget!
