Wanted Faulty Laptops

I am running an ICT hardware class and need a quite few faulty laptops for the students to take a part and put back together. spec and age not important and I can arrange collection.

i threw away 2 about 2 months ago. Someone asked me to fix them they gave them me i thought these are big and they were DOS based ones. I had no idea what to do i told him this he purchased some new ones and told me to throw these ones.

I've got three possibly available but I bet you can't collect from Dorset!

Does it matter if one or two are missing hard drives? - not all of them

Having no hard drives is not a problem although if possible would be great.

Just remembered there's a couple of dead machines lying around at a couple of schools that I should be able to get hold of...

They'll need to be minus hard drives to ensure there's no data goes with them but if you can wait a couple of weeks for me to collect them together you're welcome to them.

Ive got 5 or so dead laptops here with varying degrees of death (hdd, screen, old age). You are more than welcome to them as it gets them out of my office. I will probably run a magnet over the hdd's first to blank them jsut incase there are any files still on them.
