    Can you not look up the model numbers or serial numbers on hp?

    They should have a pull out tag on them.

    their should be a serial number on the chassi from there you should be able to find out what is what. I baught a 350 and took me a little while to figure what it was.

    if you open the HP System management homepage in the top right it should have System Model. (start -> all programs -> Hp Management Agents -> HP System Management Homepage

    I've checked 2 and one tells me it's a ProLiant ML350 G4p and the other says ProLiant DL380 G5.

    Should work.

    With the ML 370 range you can tell what G it is by the make and colour of it!

    White = G1
    Compaq Branded time machine= G2
    HP Branded time machine = G3
    HP Branded non-time machine = G4
    Funkey new current HP Model with 16 drive bays = G5

    If you take a photo of the offending objects I can normally tell from a photo (unless you photo mine as my G2s and 3's look like G4s as the Desktop to Rack kit for the 370s makest them look like G4's
