I'm sure I've seen a bird house, with a webcam it. I can't remember where it was, but I seem to recall it was about £250ish.
Does anyone know where I can get one from?

Philip Harris do them
I rigged up something similar (ish) for myself.
I bought a wireless colour camera & receiver from eBay (bout 30 to 40 IIRC) and mounted it on a tree next to the feeders in a little clear dome which I sealed up.
Since the batteries ran down so quick, I ran transformed mains down a couple of strands of CAT5 (which in turn runs through a hosepipe down the side of the garden) from the shed to power it.
Result - We can watch and hear the birds feeding in glorious technicolour on our TV. I can confirm that woodpeckers have amazingly long tongues...
Hi StewartKnight,
We have been making fun bird camera projects for several years. We found it is important to make the right box for the right camera. There are many variables that you have to look at when making your own. During our many experiments we found a great company selling complete nest box camera kits. The kits include everything and are ideal for all types of birds. The best bit is that they have kits from £45!
We praise them highly as they are very helpful too. Have a look and let me know how you got on.
