Ricoh MP 171P - How to enable the Ethernet socket?

We have one of these things and would like to print to it via the network. I have spent over two hours trying to work out how to access the network settings, as there does not seem to be an option. Apparently it’s under interface settings but this does not even appear. I can see it in the admin management menu but I have turned this off and it's still not there, if its turned on and I log in as the admin, still no luck. I am starting to wonder if this model even supports network or if its a dead socket. The connection is fine.

Any one ever come accross one of these? I hope I am not missing something simple.

    Model: Ricoh MP 171F

Are you trying this from the control panel on the device or via the web interface?

Just a though we have several of these but I don't recall mine been 171P - perhaps the P means personal or something as so is a non ethernet version?

    Sorry its an F.

I am trying on the device, it does have an ethernet socket but it does not light up. I am thinking its either disabled in the settings or its not active on this model.
