Dell Badges Wanted

Bit of a strange request - we've got a suite of Dell Optiplex GX150's (don't laugh - they've been upgraded so much that none of the original components are inside the cases) - but on half-a-dozen of them the little blighters the tea-leaving kids have prised the silver Dell badges off the front even though we had stuck them on with superglue.

We've got our open evening on the 2nd October and I just know the room will fail the pre evening inspection because of this. Does anyone by any chance have some of these or similar Dell PCs stuck in 'storage' i.e. awaiting disposal that we could have half-a-dozen of the Dell badges off?

It would be much appreciated and I'm more than happy to pay for postage and booze!

We tried Dell and they politely told us to sod off.

Why not just remove existing badges so they atleast all match? :P

I have about 3 redundant ones I don’t think the badges will fit as they are from the little ones i will check though

We did think of that and tried it but they all looked shite and the bossman would have had a fit.... :twisted:

Been there done it last week and by today the little ferrets had either scribbled all over them or stabbed them to pieces with their pens....

Yeah, I think that's what we're going to have to do. Just as well we made extra ones on Friday...

....still think wiring the WHOLE pc to the mains would be a nice idea :twisted:

Don't know if it's the same for everyone but we always seem to find that September is our worst month for vandalism.
