Ok, so staff are trying to print reports using Target Tracker.
The report has some colour coding in it. We seem to be having an issue with the green. Some printers are printing the green and some are ignoring it completely.
The printers are installed on a server and then dished out via a script, i've compared the drivers in the properties of a working printer and a non working and they are the same.
The printers print green otherwise quite happily...any thoughts?

14th February 2013, 02:04 PM #3 What? no one wants to point out something obvious that i've done\not done\missed?!
Just been toying with the idea that 3 of the printers had a firmware upgrade during the toner fiasco but then there is a printer in the "doesn't print green" list that hasn't had its firmware touched....

14th February 2013, 02:23 PM #4 My suggestion would be to try upgrading the drivers (if there is an upgrade available) and seeing whether that helps at all. Failing that to try a complete reinstall of one of the non-green printing servers.

14th February 2013, 02:26 PM #5 If exporting to MS Word 2010 (for example), select File > Save As then select PDF. Print the PDF to the printer.
If using an older version of Word 2003 for example, install a free PDF printer such as Cute PDF and do the same.
I've had similar problems with Publisher 2003 to certain printers/photocopiers. Sending the file as a PDF did the trick

14th February 2013, 03:53 PM #7 Nah, they print straight from Target Tracker. I took TT out of the title in case that was putting people off.

15th February 2013, 11:00 AM #8 Is it possible to change the colour of that key item to a different one?

25th February 2013, 10:29 AM #10 Ok, not sure what to do with this.
I've installed one of the non working printers on to my machine and not running through server.
I've tried different drivers but this doesn't seem to make a difference...any ideas?

25th February 2013, 10:41 AM #11 There must be a difference between the one that works and the one that doesnt work. Try and find a common link between the two PC's/Printers.
Could even try an image of a working PC to a non working PC.

25th February 2013, 10:56 AM #12 Is it ink or toner?
Refils or legit?
Is it a case of being unable to print green at all or just through Target Tracker? [If it's just through target tracker, take a screenshot and try to print it through paint. That way you have the exact green it's using.]
If its refilled ink, check the nozzles. We've had a lot of problems with refils causing blockages in the nozzles which we can't clear.
Also, take a screenshot of the advanced colour selection in paint... [or just use mine.] and check if blue and yellow are coming through properly.

25th February 2013, 11:33 AM #13 I did wonder if it coincided with the issues id had with the refill toners but its also affecting printers that weren't touched...
Printer prints advanced colour things fine. The issue is only affecting Target Tracker....

Is it all colours that are getting stripped out, or just green?
