Toshiba Satellite Pro every time. Low failure rate and excellent support if there is a problem.

We use pure RM kit here. Laptops are RM Mobile One 300's and 310's.

Which I wouldn't recommend. Ever. Not even if I hated you.

The staff versions [Notebook One 310] are decent-ish. But, you could probably get more for less.

Samsung and Fujitsu are the low cost choices here...

    Le Edit:

We've seen a lot of personal Tosh laptops that have failed under warranty and just out of warranty, the build quality has been really suspect.

Personally I wouldn't entertain anything except Pro-Books from HP

I wouldn't trust anything from acer in an enterprise environment. I own an Acer Aspire laptop and a Veriton vesa mount PC, and whilst they are fine for my use, they wouldn't last 5 minutes in a school.
