    PCI SD card reader my google skills are failing

    I'm looking for something like the PCI usb card which have an internal port on them apart from I would like to it to support SD cards Instead anybody seen anything?

    hmm tricky why not an internal usb card like you've seen with a small sd card reader plugged into it?

    Its for an Open-E san. I don't trust USB devices for the boot partition anymore.

    It isn't possible to use Sata one due to the chassis.

    Could you not add an internal sata card and then use a sata to sd converter?

    Thats the kind of thing. That will fit in a normal PCI slot won't it? I wonder if I can screw it into a full high plate.

    You will kill the SD card i think - too many writes.

    It would work but I think might be too expensive I only need 4gb 8 at max.
