What is the official name for the cables that connect your front panel buttons and LEDs to the motherboard? eg. you have PWR LED, HDD LED, PWR, PWR RESET etc.

I've seen them called case headers, front panel connectors, saic (switches and indicators connections), front IO panel...

I have a habit of taking (or finding) a picture of what I need and sending it to people for a quote... It works quite well!

They're called Front Panel Connector(s). Sometimes they're combined or sometimes they're individual, but the result is the same.
