Hi Guys, - Yes I am 90% moved over to my iMac which I purchased 5/6 months ago. I have to admit to not letting go of Office 2007 which runs in Parallels Desktop 4. At the risk of upsetting people, I do love Office 2007 for some reason.

Hello lads & lasses, I'm I allowed in the gang if I'm not strictly a tech. I have just started working for an ISP that specialises in education. I'm not very technically advanced. But if I promise not to try and sell you anything I'd like to just hang out and see if I can learn anything that may benefit me at work. What it is that you specifically want from an ISP? How you've been let down, Support. No names need be given. I think you get the gist. Promise I won't babble so much in future! Cheers guys.

    HodgeHi
I like the idea of the macbook air as it forces you tochange the way you do things. It forces your way of thinking. If you can't store all your stuff on your machine then you can't lose it. If you have back to my mac installed then you can access it anywhere on the road as long as you have an internet connection available. I think it's just a little too early. Another year or so when everywhere has a wireless grid across the counties.

Think the mac book air could do with quite a few improvements from a slim line optical drive as some of the other sony slim line notebooks have and a few more usb ports wouldnt hurt and maybe one firewire 400 and one firewire 800 and an ethernet port. Also a replaceable battery as it seems a bit silly to have it enclosed inside.

Personally I think ( and you could dis agree or agree with me on this ) a mac book would make more sense , at least you get the optical drive, it isnt huge or heavy to carry around and it has all the connectivity.
