School logo
Please could somebody have a go at digitising this existing school logo, making it a bit prettier and more modern looking? I've had a go at making the leaves and petals (I think it is a tulip) slightly rounded or 3D like but can't seem to get it right. I will be using it on a dark blue background so the image needs a transparent background and white text and I suppose a white outline to the flower rather than black as in the attached sample. The new site will be using a mixture of 'Arial' and the Google font, 'Amaranth' if that helps!
Thank you,
Dave

Pretty please? I'm struggling!

Thank you. This is similar to one of my early paper efforts which was unfortunately deemed too different from the original! That is why I was trying to add a sort of rounded (3D) effect to the petals etc as a way of modernising. What do you think? I think the text will also need to be upper and lower case too (even though I think as a logo it looks better in all upper!).

Personally I feel bold and simple would be better than a 3D effect. Makes it better for use over different media then. I'll do a vector redraw of the current logo and see what you think.

I can see your point! Personally, I like your original one. I suppose a neater vector will just 'look' better anyway!

Sorry for the delay. Done this but couldn't upload due to proxy issues.
How's this?

Sorry for my delay too! That one actually looks fine - doesn't need anything more. However, is it possible to make the text slightly larger?

This better?

Let me know if it's ok and I'll sort out the transparent vector for you.

Yes, that's fantastic. Thank you very much!
