Just a quick tweak. Can add extras to him ( tartan etc. ) if you decide to use it.

Just put together some ideas using LetterMPress ...
gdt - a set on Flickr

is my favourite so far ... But not sure about the final colours.
GDT are the three letters, preference is for yellow, red, orange ang black (I *am* a tiger, after all)

I like the avatar too ... Always good to help people remember you if you have a funky avatar ... But it makes it difficult to change your avatar / branding later on sometimes.

having looked through the designs again, I'm being drawn more to the bottom one...

The logo would also work well with the likes of Sharepoint, Wordpress, etc..
