Hi folks,
My fiancee needs is looking at a new logo for her infant school. I said I'd take a look but also thought it would be good to post up here and see what others come up with.
Their logo currently has an acorn with a tree alongside it. I'll post mine up when I do it too.

Do you know what kind of style they would like? Do they want a modern style of something more heraldic?
I think they would be looking for something modern. They already have a logo, but it's not great and I think they'd want to move away from that kind of style - but obviously retaining the acorn and tree in some way. It looks like it, but who knows. The logo looks like it is scanned from a school jumper or something!
He's one. Seeing as it's an Infant School have kept it simple and friendly.

That looks good SYSMAN - will pass it onto the lesser half (see if witch bites haha) and see what she thinks.
By the way - do you have one with a transparent background please?
You may have to get copyright clearance for this one, and I changed the motto to something more modern. Also used Comic Sans to appeal to the teaching staff.

SYSMAN - I don't mean to take the Michael and request too much, but the lassie has come back to me and said they love the tree, but can't use the rainbow as another local school has something similar and apparantly that might cause conflicts.
I asked her what she would be looking at putting instead and she said children. I had an idea of having multicoloured silhoette's of children doing a ring-a-ring-a-roses around the tree, and actually gave it a go and failed miserably.
If you have time, and are up for the challenge do you think you could edit the logo you created so it is similar to this - or just so it includes children playing or something if the other is too hard.
