EduGeek Christmas Message
Well, here we are again friends, at the end of another year. With our usual conferences, BETT and other events such as the Microsoft Windows 7 'deployment' seminar we (the admins and mods) have managed to meet more of you than ever, and what a pleasure it has been to sit down and share a meal with many of you.
This year has also seen EduGeek go it as a full time concern, and not me banging away at a laptop at home from 9pm to the early hours catching up with e-mail and the business side of things.
But our biggest thanks has to go to you, our members who make this place what it is, with your humour, knowlege and genuine 'niceness' it makes each working day a pleasure to see you all participating in what is now becoming one of the most popular tech sites in the world (did I mention we are now ranked in th 36,000s?). So let me finish by saying thank you to the following people\groups:
The Moderators, without them we'd be knee deep in spam trolls and flames. They keep all of this under control.
The Admins, for contiunally telling me when I'm being stupid and to 'drop it'. Thank you, I need the advice.
Shaun (ZeroHour) for being the best webmaster since webmasters were created.
Paul (Sysman_MK), a really talented graphic artist who gets a hell of a lot of well deserved recognition and keeps our banners entertaining.
You, our members. You are brilliant beyond words.
Our advertisors and sponsors - For your continued support that keeps EduGeek going.
IDG Communications, PC Advisor Magazine and Microsoft, for doing lots of things for us behind the scenes that never get a mention.
Thats it I think, apart from to say that we at EduGeek wish all of you a very merry Christmas, and a great new year, and we hope to see many of you at BETT in January.
Chris Byers (Dos-Box)
