Re: Latest EduGeek.net Workshop - Microsoft UK
Hi this looks to be really great event I would love to go but we are doing major work here so not a chance. Will there be any more in the future? Also are they always in Reading or are they held in other parts of the country?
Maybe you could organise something in Devon or Cornwall ....our tractors won't get as far as Reading
Re: Latest EduGeek.net Workshop - Microsoft UK
lol
workshops are all over country (always looking for places to have workshops workshop at)
So if can provide a free venue and free food and drink for event (dosnt have to be many people minimum is 15 people but more the better) and speaker basically are able to run the event. We can provide a ready audience for you and get your venue/school promoted to wide range of people...
Our events get promoted on ict register, direct email to previous people who attend our events, various mailing lists plus more..
Hence why we do this with suppliers as they free free promo...
Then we do big conferences which we run ourselfs we have got one in london in October just sorting stuff out for this at moment...
If got ideas for a event get in touch and we can try and work something out...

Re: Latest EduGeek.net Workshop - Microsoft UK
That does sound good! there are a couple of Network Managers and Technicians that meet up every couple of months at the moment, but to be honest there is no real direction, this could be the perfect answer.
I can't speak for any of them now until September but I'm sure they would be interested.
And as for the October conferance I will try to get to that

@edie209: We had an idea of having regional reps to help out with localised stuff. PM me for more details if you are interested.
