Becta have asked EduGeek.net to put together a group of interested Network Managers and Technicians to look at the Technical and Functional Specifications for IT Infrastructure.
These were recently updated and reposted for members to look at.
EduGeek.net will be inviting approx 15 people to come along and discuss these with Andy Gorton and John Shockley from Becta on 18th July in Corby, Northamptonshire.
The group will be made up of 5 EduGeek Members, 5 from Northants schools and 5 from ICT Register schools.
If you are interested in attending please PM or email me as soon as possible.

Right at the end of term isn't a good date.

Apologies to those that sent PMs ... my inbox got full and so can you please send again.
I will get a response about expense on Monday and sorry if it appears to be a little regionalised but if this works well it can be used as a basis for meeting in other areas. Members are free to attend from any region, it is only East Midlands for ICT Register and Northants LA as it meets other criteria too.
Apologies for it being end of term ... unfortunately I have had a few other things on that have taken priority (RBC procurement and LA MLE procurement)
