It's that time again.
The survey on the site has now changed. We are looking for the number of *curriculum* laptops you maintain ... those used by students. This could be classroom banks of laptops, you might run a Laptops for Students scheme or be part of the eLearning Foundation.
For those of you who haven't spotted it already these surveys are allowed to run until we have around 300 responses. If everyone can put their answer in we can get onto the next one.
I'll make the next one a little less sensible too!

Kids? Laptops? Recipe for disaster. We loan one out to kids who can't write with a pen as and when required and that's it.

Same here as Webman, we dont have any which are specifically *for* students, we occassionally loan one out if someone has a broken wrist, or in some cases very heavily dyslexic students will use one for a lesson to do their work on instead of writing.

Aaaaargh! Laptops and kids! 8O
About 25 here, but they are slowly becoming obsolete (hurray!). When I first started here we had almost 100 laptops for students, suprisingly they have retired!

All these complaining that there is no zero, you add it and they don't vote!

I'd already voted for 1-9  However, due to a bug in the module I could vote for 0 when I get home...

I'm working hard to get rid of the few we have left. Old, slow and falling to bits. Although, a couple of the SEN kids have them for their work and they will be keeping theirs.
