27th February 2011, 10:23 AM #1 Welcome Aboard Shaun
Well, the 'official' announcement i.e. this post,is a few days late, which is mostly my fault. As many of you know, we announced at the Microsoft conf about Shaun now being full time on EduGeek as webmaster/CTO , but I did skip on some details. He is also a partner/director in the business, and this is something that we had been aiming for for quite some time, but couldn't commit to due to his 'day job'. anyone who you can MSN at 2am almost every night to answer queries whilst he worked on the site more than deserves it.
I for one am now quite relieved that Shaun is here to not only work on the site full time, but to take some of the (increasing) workload off my back and allow us to do quite a bit more that we have previously been able to.
So it's with great pleasure that I can now welcome Shaun, who I've got to know very well over the past 4 years, fully into my world. It's going to be exciting times ahead

27th February 2011, 11:36 AM #5 It is good news for edugeek... getting the main man for the website on board has to be the right business decision
Let's hope the trademark applications proceed smoothly.

27th February 2011, 05:41 PM #7 Looks a good move, as long as you can stop Shaun from drinking all the profits, which based on the evidence from the Reading conference is going to be a difficult task

It's actually the message tone - the sound of the star trek communicator with Kirks voice saying 'Kirk here'
