Yup, we lost 1 person (glendda) (whom was wearing the brightest t-shirt lol)
Eventually there was Myself, Shaun, Ric, Stuart, and Tim left and we got back to the hotel around 04:15 this morning.
Another fantastic conference!
James.

We did - at 4am, and it was going light! Epic... but as said, we managed to loose members and smoothwall along the way! Cheers to all the organisers :-)

I am just in the middle of writing up a BLOG post on the entire event. I will be attaching the Presentations to that.
ZeroHour/Shaun is also going to be doing a thread on here for downloading the presentations.

3rd June 2011, 06:34 PM #86 haha, an excellent night out last night! Though getting back at 4:15am and waking up at 7am wasnt the best idea and spent about an hour working out on how many people we had lost... i still claim there were 10 of us at the first pub and only lost @glennda (we were stood just further down the bar) and 3 smoothwall lot plus 1 extra left later on... but anyway.. I had a good time for my first meet and looking forward to next years!
Tim

Awesome! plus my nice shiny new server chassis was waiting for me when i got back to school - small problem was i couldn't get it near the server room as the pallet didn't fit and it was to big for me to lift!

3rd June 2011, 07:38 PM #88 Fantastic Conference. Fantastic Nights. Highlights including @ZeroHour and myself introducing @EduTech to proper whisky drinking ... where you don't quaff because it is too darned expensive (though @ZeroHour has now found a secret to getting a £25+ bottle of 12 year old Glenmorangie for around £14!) and the message from those vagrant sunglasses ... EduShades.
At the conference, I loved @Drummer_Boy and his talk on DPA ... more stuff I can hammer home with local schools. Also enjoyed One Planet Computing. A big thanks to all and looking forward to the next one.
