10th June 2010, 07:23 AM #1 EduGeek at the Ruckus Big Dogs Conf - Marbella - Day 1
Well, here I am, the day after the start of the Ruckus Big Dogs conference in Marbella, and last night was the opening cocktail party. Needless to say, with a free bar, I’m feeling a little ‘fragile’ this morning. I met a whole load of very interesting people from all over the globe and teamed up with Mark Power from Net-Ctrl to try and work out just what each canapé was supposed to be (no real food!). Some were nice, some were ok and some…..well, let’s just say that the human body has a gag reflex for a reason!
I’ve posted some pictures of the offending (offensive?) items below. See if you can guess which were nice and which were awful. Have to go now as the conf starts proper in a few mins.

10th June 2010, 07:33 AM #2 I have to say that the first pic is of Mark Power eating something he described as 'Prawns fried in Shauns beard'. They were surprisingly tasty though.

I wish. The thing that looks like a big rats dropping tasted like you had just licked a fishmongers counter!

hehe I LOL'd at that, and suspect Marks now of Shauns Christmas Card List hehe
Looks very fancy
We know you will convey our love of Ruckus to them all very well
As for the food, the prawn in beard was probably nice, 2nd pic prob ok, 3rd not good, 4th yeh ok, 5th by your face I don't think it was that bad, 6th yeh ok, 7th not good, 8th yeh nice and finally 9th yeh not bad either
That is based on the looks though, so what they taste like who knows, well you and Mark do but

10th June 2010, 08:06 PM #10 I was speaking to one very annoyed guy today who came to do some cabling (they sell ruckus etc as well) and he was due to be Marbella but for various reasons couldn't attend in end. Marbella or doing cabling at our place I know which I would choose.

I'd go for the cabling at your place Russ
