    Sad news - Task-IT

It is with deep regret that I have been informed that Task-IT have gone into liquidation.

    Taken from their website.
TASK IT Limited - Notice of liquidation

It is with great regret that the directors of Task IT Limited have to announce that Task IT Limited is going into liquidation with immediate effect. The Buncefield Oil Depot disaster and increasingly difficult market conditions have led to an irrecoverable financial situation.

During the past few weeks, we have called in several financial experts to help us analyse and understand our position clearly. The liquidation has to take place immediately as our forecasts show that during the next few months our position will become worse rather than better. Due the size and turnover of Task, there is no evident action the directors can take to counteract the adverse and terminal effect a poor credit rating will have on
our chance to try and trade out of this situation.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our staff for their efforts during this extremely difficult time and during their service with us.

We offer our sincerest apologies to any clients or suppliers who have been affected byour closure. Although it may offer little compensation, Task has always acted in an ethical and professional manner and have taken this difficult step to prevent any further damage.

We are concentrating our efforts on how to minimise this damage in every way possible and ask you to please bear with us.

    ...

Thank you for your support over the last ten years and we wish you good fortune for the future. Once again, we offer our sincerest apologies.

    Yours faithfully

The Directors of Task IT Limited
Task IT were one of the first companies to work with EduGeek and gave a lot of information and help with those of us who first looked at Microsoft LNM.

The staff were fantastic and I offer them our best wishes on behalf of EduGeek members in their future careers, and thank them for their time and effort.

    Task were a great company...

Sad sad news... I havd many a "free" training by Task, they were great people and supplied us with a few boxes

But unfortunately to small to compete for the BSF contracts...

So it's not just the Support Staff that have to wory its the Small IT suppliers that are going to burn as well.. :-(..

Damm. Sad news when a good supplier in a sea of sharks goes to the wall.
