I dont mind these either, just the unread post cookie needs adjusting as if i get a little click happy and close too many tabs at once by accident most other forums i use when i rush back in seconds and hit unread posts it gives me the same list i got a minute since but this one is gone and no new posts, so it makes it a longer job if i get click happy by accident.

Options such as being able to view complete threads in a heirarchy, with the unread posts in bold ... the ability to quickly link RSS feeds to a single thread ... fine tuning of the search facility so it can integrated in both the forums and main site ... allowing for 'posts since ... ' to include last day, last week, last hour (hey ... we are that usy sometimes!)
These are just a few for starters.

Well, I suppose if you've never used those features you'd not miss them - I've never had a call for them but other people probably have.

Well, I'm not opposed to change so look forward to Edugeek in 2007. As Russ will tell you, I'll also be happy to help out if necessary.

In truth I'm biased towards phpBB2 but I'm looking to port my code as version 3.x comes out sometime in the next few months so I'd be interested to see how Beehive works out.

If people want to help with anything please pm or email me with areas want to help out.
I am currently doing all project management stuff for 'edugeek 2.0' (yes it is that big).
What I will do is appoint someone to head each area up so someone will be in charge of web development, someone else in charge of moving certain content across etc etc.
Idea of little old me
managing whole thing and making sure everything gets done etc...

In the past I have used http://www.opensourcecms.com/ to find CMS's and forums and things, it has demo's you can play with and break and lots of info on them. Maybe a good starting point.
