And that is how this forum should be !! Helping people when we can, and having a laugh along the way. People take this internet thing far far too seriously.....

Reading the last couple of posts about ADs, come on look around how do you think this place makes money. It's part of life that the odd bad Ad gets through. Maybe you can pay a subscription to have all ads removed? thought not

I did skim across a post about RM CEO something about us being important....in what way?
    I will paraphrase here but...

At BETT RM Chairman (But CEO has said same sort of comments) made a point to come a visit the stand and make some very positive comments about the 'geek' how important the site was both to schools and suppliers and ICT community at whole.

You could take it as playing to owners but knowing both former CEO and current CEO and John the chairman I have never known them to play to the crowd when it comes to comments like that. They watch the words very carefully as they are held accountable for everything they say.

I'm still happy to discuss the matter in public to which you refer but I feel that it is unfair and it is not how we do things. I also still have a copy of the original PM I sent you and your reply if you would like a copy.

TBH you seem to be miffed at something and nothing and you are dragging up dirty laundy that you had the opportunity to clean and air a LONG time ago. These are matters that have nothing to do with the recent spate of stoopid, nonsense, posts.

I'd also like to point out that you have benefitted from attendeding an EduGeek conference, meal and gathering in Manchester. I personally bought the drinks at the gathering in Manchester - not EduGeek - so I can't see how you still think that the EduGeek community has something against you.

Like I said (or implied) previously, forget about the past and just get on with everyone. We're all in the same position at the end of the day and we just want to make life easier at work.

May show them how to make a stop frame animation short with their Doc Who toys......

I'm not going to make any comments, apart from thanks to everyone who provides me with such a great resource to lean on if I need to
