    Edugeek Search Federation

For any of you who attended the Microsoft Windows7/Server2008 Conference, or for any of you who have looked into the windows 7 search you will know they have done a lot with it since WindowsXP/Vista.

You can now optimize your search so you can search websites from your desktop, you can create a connector that will bring back more information such as images etc but for now i have just put together a really simple one that allows you to search for content on the forums.

It seems pretty accurate, but it would be great for some feedback from you guys.

I believe it only works with Windows 7 which is a bit of a bug bare for anyone not using this operating system but unfortunately i aint god

Just download the attached file, unzip and then double click on the connector file and it will prompt you to install it. once you have installed it you can then search from within Windows Explorer.

    Hope it comes in useful.

    James.

Cheers - I've downloaded it and will give it a go once Windows 7 is released and my copy arrives.
