We've been once again asked by the lovely people at PC Advisor magazine to contribute to the EducateIT BETT magazine. So if you fancy getting your name in print and spreading you knowlege around please post here your ideas for articles. I think UMPCs and W7/2008 R2 may be good topics as well as more open source and Mac entries too. Over to you guys.

28th August 2009, 05:49 PM #5 Any EduGeek member can get involved although we ask for articles that are as vendor neutral as possible.
The magazine also has excellent advertising opportunities at incredibly competitive rates IIRC.

15th September 2009, 09:39 AM #7 I have been inspired to write about multiseat computing. Pros/Cons. The gfs school has just had loads put in so good testing ground.

21st September 2009, 12:04 PM #13 I would like to get involved in this competition and base my article around Parental Access and the technologies out there which are designed to help build on pupil attendance/behavour, progress, attainment, special needs -Obviously I would create it as vendor neutral as possible :-)

21st September 2009, 12:51 PM #14 How about the dangers of mobile technology to child safety. I dont mean just the obvious wifi signal but all the java and browers that are giving unrestricted internet to the child.

21st September 2009, 12:55 PM #15 I've decided on a nice security related article outlining the differnces between viruses, spywear and malware, something that many teachers lump together as 'viruses' and have no protection against. It should be a revelation to many!
