Hi,
I'm doing the Gower Bike Ride on Sunday (as maybe some others here as well). If anyone fancies sponsoring me £1 then please do so. The money raised is going to the British Heart Foundation. They helped my Father in law when he had heart disease. Their support was excellent and really helped the family. Who knows maybe one of us may need their support. Maybe one of you are already receiving their support.
If anyone fancies sponsoring me - ** This bit has changed **
You can now donate to me through Just Giving: http://www.justgiving.com/gareth-edmondson/
Not sure how many members are on Edugeek - but £1 each would be cool. Hopefulyl someone will.
Regards
Gareth Edmondson

Would it be an idea to use something like justgiving.com so they can benefit from gift aid too?
Either way, drop me a pm Gareth.

Good luck for the bike ride, just sent you something through paypal.

Yeah, Good Luck Gareth!
As, Kmount suggested, JustGiving - Raise money for charity online - JustGiving may have been easier in the long run, with the advantage of gift aid and not worrying about handling the money. I used them 7 years ago when i did a sponsored cycle ride in Sri Lanka.
Sorry, don't have PayPal.

Yes - I saw Just Giving - but they wanted £15 per month that the page was open. Surely that isn't a charity :-)
If you really want to give through Just Giving then please feel free to give to my friend who is riding with me:
David Wheeler is fundraising for British Heart Foundation - JustGiving
He setup his own page.

Gareth

Can I just take the opportunity to thank the EduGeekers who have given. There really are some generous people out there.
So come on everyone else. £1 is all I ask.
Who knows maybe you will need the BHF one day.
Cheers again everyone,
GJE
