    New Outlet

If you now click the Outlet tab you will see something new.

    EduGeek.net - Outlet's List

The Amazon link takes you to the main Amazon site, but you can also use our shop too. Using these gives us a percentage of each transaction and we can put these back into the site and more conferences throughout the country at more regular intervals, as well as better freebies and goodies for you guys. SO if you use Amazon a bit (as most of us do) then please do it via us. It does not add to the cost of your goods in anyway, we simply get a percentage of the profit.

Does this only count for products bought direct from Amazon? Or with all sales (no matter who the supplier is).

Anything you see either on our portal, or on Amazon will count.

Yes we receive commission on third party store sales as long as they are on amazon.

If you order from Amazon and dont mind, can you PM me your time of ordering and value to confirm its working. This is just for initial testing.

Dunno if you've noticed but when you click on the Outlet link, then on Amazon, you get sent to another screen asking for you to choose between Acer and Amazon.

I thought this at first. The second screen appears to be asking if you want to surf Amazon within an iFrame in Edugeek or do you want to go straight to the Amazon website.

Ah, I think this needs clarifying, as it could be confusing.

The second screen is for to choose if you want to use the locally hosted version, as edugeek get more commission that way, or you can continue and go straight to the amazon site (normally) where edugeek will still get commission just not as much as you would if you went through the locally hosted site.

If you do use the locally hosted site, when you go to the shopping cart you will be redirected to amazon for the time being.

Thats what i understand is going on..

    ?

    James.

Yeh thats basically it. I thought it was clear with the buttons but obviously not. I will try to clarify the page a little.

Yes, it foxed me the first time. I thought you had a circular link somewhere until I read it more carefully.
