    The EduGeek Christmas message

Well, for most of you it’s that time of year, if your school didn’t let the kids go yesterday you’ll be clock watching right about now. So it just remains for me to say thank you one and all for you support and contributions in making EduGeek what it has become in the past year. In January we had 5000 users, we’ve doubled since then and we predict that this will double again by next Christmas. We now have many more members from outside of education too (welcome guys and gals) which just shows the level of knowledge we have stored up on the ‘Geeks servers.
Special thanks this year have to go to the following guys though:

Tony (Grumbledook): for sacrificing any semblance of a normal life by having many jobs and still finding time to organise BETT for us.

Paul (Sysman_MK): for working like never before to create all of the wonderful logos and graphics EduGeek uses (I’ll bet you didn’t realise just how much effort we put in the background before you did these eh, Paul?)

Shaun (Zero_Hour): for being on call 24hrs a day and fixing us when we are broken from his iPhone

All the admins and mods who ensure that all spammers and miscreants are dealt with swiftly and sensibly

All those who submitted articles for the BETT EducateIT supplement. I’ve posted the thank you from Paul Trotter (PC Advisor's ed) elsewhere on the site, but they have been received very well indeed and we shall find out how good the mag looks at BETT.
Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful time off over the Christmas holiday and eat, drink, frag and relax as much as you can. And we hope to see you at BETT in January.

    Merry Christmas,

    Dos_Box

And a merry christmas to all of you

Sounds a bit sentimental, I know, but I don't know where I would be without Edugeek - you've changed my life (in a good way, of course!)

The Admins here never stop trying to make this site bigger and better, and the work that goes on behind the scenes is mind boggling, as is the amount of memory Photoshop is swollowing up from my laptop with all the requests I am just happy to play a small part.

    Merry Christmas to you all!
