We need some more people to get involved with the newsletters and podcasts.
All you need to do is write a paragraph or two on something you've seen in the press or review some of your favourite gear. I'll edit your contributions and collate all the wonderful stuff so that we end up with a newsletter.
If you're illiterate or simply don'e want to write... you could speak your news. Record a snippit of voice, mail it to me, I edit it and perform magical business and hey presto we have a podcast! Easy as pie!
Seriously though... anyone that may be interested, please PM me!

I don't want to get involved in podcasts because I suspect I have a very boring voice like that bloke in the Father Ted christmas episode where they get stuck in the lingerie department. However I'd be happy to jot down some thoughts on new hardware when I get some in.

I'll take that offer Norphy!
Any more takers? I might even produce a special piccie to display next to the journalists' names if they are lucky! :P

I was the News editor of my student rag when I was at uni. I would like to help out here as a journalist.
Not really too interested in the podcasting but I will help if necessary (did the student radio for a couple of years too).

I may be able to do some reviewy type things for you, as I keep being asked to do it by a IT publication for schools (I forget its name) but I know part of the team that edits it, as they also do quite a bit for the mag Sec Ed. They have asked me 4 times now, so I wll have to get my workload down a bit and start to think about doing something about it....

I'd be interested in reading/editing the podcast, but I'm not very good with coming up/writing with the content etc... if you're still looking for someone

OK... the new newsletter format has gone down well (i assume since I haven't had any complaints!).
We will aim to publish a newsletter every other Sunday - the next one will be available on 4 June.
We do still need people to contribute a bit though. Nrphy has very kindly given us a couple of reviews which will make up the majority of the forthcoming newsletter but after that my stock of articles will have dwindled.
If people could maybe PM me when they feel there are particular topics that are worth a mention or if people could review any gubbins that they have, I would be rather grateful.

I'll keep that in mind- great idea.
My problem is limiting what I say to less than 20 words...but I'll try :-)
