 My thank you's for last week
Well, what a trying week that was. I'd like to to take this opportunity to thank all of you for being so patient whilst we have ran around in the background making chicken noises trying to get Fasthosts, the media, our sponsors and advertisers, and various site members in varying states of EduGeek withdrawal talked too. So here is my big list of thank you's:
Those of you who mailed Fasthosts for us (I'm pretty sure it had an effect) on Thursday morning.
The rest of you who waited patiently and made use of the shoutbox.
Those of you who bombarded me with IM's of support.
Our sponsors\advertisers for being so understanding.
AloneBFG, you know why.
Tony, Ric and Russ for sorting out The Register.
Jane for understanding why I was sat on a couch until way past midnight every night with my laptop .
MattX for his 'an anagram of Fasthosts is Shaft Toss' It kept us smiling and redeemed his soul a little.
And last but not at all least Shaun (ZeroHour) for staying up all night for several days and keeping me informed via MSN until late o'clock each night and never, ever, giving Fasthosts a break.
P.S. I was considering thanking Fasthosts actually, as they made me realise that there are worse things than being torn limb from limb by a rabid hyena. The smashing of ones dreams and the removal of a sense of community by a faceless corporate entity with an absolute awful level of service beats this hands down. |
