you do realize that with the current number of members, 729, and the maximum 6 figure number, £999,999, that works out at £1371.74 each. no way am I selling my soul for anything less than £5000.

good points and will look into legal side... but yes standard disclaimer in some place would be good...

companys donating and issue of somone slagging off a product

we espect that volunters remain pros and if we do that then will be no issue

also that is why i am dealing with company donations by email mainly so it is clear we wont endore the product but the company will get advertsing in form of thankyou area on the stand etc

Count me in - assuming I'm still in the same job - be happy to donate half a day or so to the cause.

    hmmm ...

I've suddenly got visions of The Great Escape ...

I'm off for another lie down before my next lesson (yes ... they finally caught up with me and have me teaching ... but at least it is only media and with sixth formers!)
    Tony!

You have made the ultimate sacrifice friend. I honour you with my worldly goods. Well, not really. But I think you're a brave man in any case.

    Sixth formers now....

    Year 7 within a year.

Then it's all over for you.

    Re: EduGeek at BETT 2007

Well ... when I say teach ... I mean instruct (not a qualified teacher and all the malarky) ... and it is really a case of being on hand to help them through production techniques ...

And it is with the benefit of being able to say "What? You mean I have come in today to help you work out the best way to edit and not only have you not filmed anything yet, but you have not done a storyboard and your script has more holes in it than Enron's accounts! Come back when you actually have some stuff to actually work with!"

Oh yeah ... it's also an excuse to play with the Macs and convert a few more impressionable minds :-)

    Re: EduGeek at BETT 2007

Bloody Hell......I spend 48 hours in Germany with year 7 and all hell has broke loose on Edugeek.

Just to let you know I should be able to do all all four days if needed. If not i can come down on a couple of days to help.

See how it all pans out and let me know.

well that serves you right for leaving the country

It was worth if for one year 7 lad's comment of the weekend.

After informing him he had just travelled through France, Belgium and Germany he replied "Cool, I've never been to Europe before. I have only ever been to Italy...........?"
