Spokesperson Russell Dyas said: -
“After our first conference we knew this year that we wanted to run two national conferences. We also wanted to have some locally based training sessions and the Specialist Schools & Academies Trust’s offer of help has made this possible.”
This first local workshop is in addition to our two national conferences this year in which the first one is at Rochdale City Learning Centre on April 19th. Also we plan to announce further regional workshops at a later date.

We are looking to host additional sessions as soon as possible.
One stumbling block is outlining suitable locations as we need a certain number before funding is possible, and before speakers / trainers will turn up.
If members could use the Frappr map, or put the location in their profile, it would make this easier.
Target areas for us are the North East (a small area) and the South West (another small area) as these are not likely to be covered by other events.
We are also looking for assistance with the organising of events in these regions and if anyone would like to volounteer please PM RussDev or me for more details.
If anyone has ideas for events in any area then feel free to contact myself or RussDev.

I'd like to come, but it's a long trip from here, so I'll be coming by train - is there any possibility of transport from the local station like at the conferences?

If you post or pm me what sort of requirements you need - I'll see if there is anywhere suitable in the West Mids.

Not to worry, it doesn't look too far on streetmap - I'm sure I can find a taxi or something! Just need to get the day off now...
